STEEL STRUCTURES
Steel structures are load-bearing structures used in construction works made of steel, especially large-scale projects, with designs and structures made entirely of steel. Because of the benefits that steel structure brings to its users, it is especially trusted by design engineers to use in almost any project.
* Advantages
- High bearing capacity.
- Lighter weight than concrete. Simple structure. Waterproof.
- Easy to transport, easy to apply, easy to repair. Construction time is shortened.
- The application is for every major project.
- Cost savings (simple structure should reduce construction time → reduce construction costs).
* Defect
- Poor fire resistance. Resistant to the impact of the environment, moisture .. But steel structures often paint rust, paint to separate from the external environment.
SPECIALIZED STRUCTURES
* Kingpost and UC beam system to serve in basement work or steel core of high rise building: Also known as bearing steel, piles of construction of basements of high-rise buildings
* High-rise building steel core: Plates steel structure is located in the facades of high-rise buildings to resist strong winds, shaking, collapse, ...
* Auxiliary works- shoring, bracing system: Steel structures are widely used for many auxiliary structures such as shoring systems (support for underground construction), bracing systems (support structures for large-scale constructions, high-rise buildings,…). Others, steel structure as a temporary structure supporting basement construction, anti-landslides, or for structures under repair or replacement.
* Steel frame to support M&E - pipe rack system: Piping support system, also called pipe rack systems, be used to directly support the pipe load or transfer it to other structures, serving as racks for industrial and chemical plants.
